BOFFO and architect Spilios Gianakopoulos are proud to present Building Fashion, a groundbreaking design program that unites vibrant architects with emerging fashion designers through a series of temporary retail installations under the New York City High Line Park at HL23, during Fall 2010.
Building Fashion conducted a nationwide competition in partnership with Architizer, and HL23 in search of leading emerging architects to pair with New York City’s most innovative fashion designers, currently without stand-alone retail operations. Located at 504 West 24th Street each collaboration will transform the HL23 Tin, a converted construction trailer, and will rotate every two weeks, showcasing design on par with the caliber and prestige demonstrated by its host, Neil Denari’s HL23. The collaborations will reflect each fashion brand’s vision through expressive voluminous forms engaging both indoor and outdoor elements of the HL23 Tin.
