PROGRAMS
BOFFO strives to provide the Fire Island Pines community with a variety of weekly programs which address the intersection of LGBTQ life and contemporary art and performance.
BOFFO hosts several artist-driven programs, including film screenings and lectures organized by our participating residents, as well as Sunday Sounds, regular dance parties on the beach. We also curate larger programs such as the Building Fashion program that highlight diverse and burgeoning voices in the field of fashion and an annual day-long BOFFO Performance Festival, which showcases new and reimagined performances, music, and dance directly respond to Fire Island’s historically LGBTQ+ community.
