King creates a series of photographs and flags inspired by the impact of The Pines on him and the collective of collaborators invited during his residency, many of whom have never experienced the island’s distinct lure. This series will expand on past themes found in Clifford’s work, including intimacy, comfort, and nature, through a Fire Island-specific lens. Clifford’s exhibition, SUNBURST SIREN, will be on display from Saturday, May 27 – Monday, May 29, 2023.
