LAFAWNDAH used Fire Island as a platform to create their own World-Gay-Summer-Dance-Album. The album fuses the trio’s love for club sounds from Turkey, Mexico, Macedonia, Puerto Rico, and Jamaica into a singular experience soaked with Fire Island’s essence and deep history of gay club music. Their residency culminated with a pool party and live performance. LaFawndah and Teengirl Fantasy's video Lung, shot on Fire Island, was produced in collaboration with NYPAC in August 2014.
